Race HQ, registration, and the Event Village for the 10k is at Tidworth Oval, Tidworth, Wiltshire, SP9 7SG. The details of the start and finish will be published once the course is finalised.

The race takes place on Sunday 13th April 2025.

Family Fun Run - 1k

What are the race courses like?
The final details about the Tidworth 10k are still being finalised but please check back soon for all the details.
The 1k Family Fun Run will comprise 2 and a half laps (or as many as can be managed) of the all-weather track at Tidworth Oval.
Both events will be fully marshalled and there will be two aid stations on the 10k course. Full details will be announced once the final course is published.
How much does the race cost and how do I enter?
Race costs and entry details can be found on the How to Enter section. Entry to the race is online only.
Online entry is being managed by RaceSpace.
What is the minimum age for entry?
The race is licensed by England Athletics. Therefore, all competitors for the Tidworth 10k must be at least 15 years old on the date of the event.
There is no upper or lower age limt for the Family Fun Run.
What age group will I race in?
There are no age groups, however there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in the open and female category for the 10k race.
How does the registration process work?
Registration will be available before the race at Tidworth Oval on Sunday 13th April 2025 only. Full details will be provided in the Athlete Guide, which will be emailed to you two weeks before the event. We do not send out race numbers or timing chips in the post.
Are there ‘cut-off’ times for the race?
No. We will not be imposing a cut off for the race. However if the race organisers feel that you are not in a fit and healthy condition to finish the race then they will inform you and their decision will be final.
What equipment is advised?
The Fun Run takes place on an all-weather track so normal road shoes or trainers will be ideal.
The details of the 10k route and equipment needed will be published once the course is finalised.
We recommend monitoring the weather conditions in the lead up to the race.
Are there prizes?
Yes. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in the open and female category.
What is the cancellation policy?
If for any reason you are unable to attend the race, there will not be a refund or deferral option. However, there is an option to transfer it to another competitor. The cut-off for transfers is seven days prior to the start of the event. The final date to be eligible for a transfer is Sunday 6th April 2025. Your entry can be transferred via the RaceSpace portal.
Can spectators watch the race?
Absolutely! Spectators are integral to the atmosphere of the races. The Family Fun Run takes place entirely within the grounds of Tidworth Oval whereas spectators supporting 10k athletes can do so at various places along the route - we will publicise the best places to watch once we have comfirmed the final route. The Event Village will provide plenty of food and drink for hungry post-race athletes and spectators alike.For all other queries, please get in touch.
