About 800m, it's a great chance for kids to enjoy the atmosphere of race day.

Information for Parents

We want to make sure that everyone has an enjoyable experience at Storm the Castle so we have put the following safety measures in place.

1. Children under 10 should run with an adult. Only the child needs to enter the race.

2. At registration, all children will be issued with a race number and wrist band. Please write an emergency contact number on the wrist band, in case your child  becomes separated from you.

3. The race takes place on a closed road circuit. We have a 'hare'  (lead runner) at the front of the pack, a 'tortoise' (back runner) at the rear, and marshals on course to make sure that everyone follows the correct path.

4. No special equipment is needed - just a comfortable pair of running shoes! PE trainers will be fine.

5. In the week leading up to the race, we will email you a guide with everything you need to know about race day. Last year's guide is available to look at below.
