The event takes place in the beautiful countryside of Shropshire and Herefordshire. The Ultra starts at the Burton Hotel, Kington, whereas the Croft15 starts at the Riverside Inn, Aymestrey. Both distances finish at Chapter66 cafe, Ludlow Castle.
By Road:
Ludlow is situated on the A49 trunk road which runs from Warrington, through Shrewsbury and Hereford to Ross-on-Wye. From Birmingham, head west on the A456 through Kidderminster. From the M5 leave at junction 3 and continue on the A456 through Kidderminster.
The Burton Hotel, Kington, HR5 3BQ is located on Mill Street on the Western area of Kington, which is situated just on the English side of the English/Welsh border, West of Leominstrer.
The Riverside Inn, Aymestrey, HR6 9ST, is situated South West of Ludlow and North West of Leominster on the A4110, between Kingsland and Wigmore.
Chapter66 is located within Ludlow Castle, Shropshire, SY8 1AY which in turn is situated in the Western part of the town centre.
Parking:
We recommend parking your car early in the morning in Ludlow and making your way back to Kington or Aymestrey for the start of your race. There is all day paid parking at Ludlow in either the Linney Car Park, Galdeford carpark or smithfield car park. Minibus transport which can be booked for £15 per person when you sign up for the race will also take athletes from the Smithfield car and coach park to Kington and then onto Aymestrey for registration and the start of your respective race. There is no parking at the Riverside Inn, Aymestrey. Further details on car parking and transport will be shown in the Athlete’s Guide that is posted to each athlete two weeks prior to race day.
There is no organised transport from Ludlow back to Aymestrey or Kington after the race
